ArchiCAD 19 Launch event - Cape Town by MultiCad & TotalCad

MultiCad Design Solutions and TotalCAD Solution Center / Graphisoft SA is happy to invite everyone to join us at the The Cape Construction Expo 2015 in Cape Town on 12 & 13 August 2015.

We are excited because this event is a "landmark" event for us at MultiCad especially. Why so special do you ask? Well, here is a few reasons for our excitement for this 2 day expo and conference event:

How to model a Bali roof in ArchiCAD?

In mid December 2014 I noticed a question that was posted on the ArchiCAD Group on Linkedin.

The question was by Mhlekazi and he asked "how can one draw a Bali roof using archicad?"

This is actually very easy to do, so I created a step-by-step #infographic for it.

Well actually I first did a Google search for "bali roof" images to be sure I understand what a "bali roof" should look like. Another clue also came from Djordje asking Mhlekazi to qualifying if this roof must be thatch or tiles.

Our Technical Team has devised a program that incorporates morning lectures and afternoon practicals with a full office simulation that runs over 2 weeks.

This "ArchiCAD Masterclass" is a unique course format that has already brought the user's skills to another level in a very short and focused time. This course was hosted by Graphisoft SA in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg over two consecutive weeks in early December 2014. The training was presented by selected ArchiCAD Trainers and Graphisoft Registered Consultants from across South Africa.

The first ArchiCAD Masterclass in SADC was very successful and attendees enjoyed the process and challenges very much . . .
